Npemwin is an emwin server. It can be configured to connect to a list of EMWIN servers, to a NOAAPort Nbsp server or to a directly attached (emwin) serial device. In any case, it will in turn serve any number of byte blaster clients (including of course other instances of npemwin itself) in the usual way.
It saves all the files it receives in a directory based on the file type and WFO ID. Extensive facilities exist for post-processing each complete file received, including alarms/notifications, database insertion and many others, that can be customized in many ways for different uses.
